We Have A New Chick In Town
What causes droves of people to look over and say, "What's going on there?"
When do people camp out for food?
Who uses customer loyalty and clever marketing (if not a little bit of enticing) to stay relevant today?
THE NEW CHICK-FIL-A in Round Rock, that's who. Dozens of articles and hundreds of people are very excited for this, but why? #ChickFilA isn't opened on Sundays like most fast food restaurants, their menu consists primarily of chicken, and let's face it... you can get chicken anywhere.
Well, for starters they are always convenient and high quality. Isn't that what we want as customers? Sure, good service is nice but it's fast food, what do we truly expect? When I went there today, it was PACKED. There was no parking! I had to offer a woman the parking spot I was waiting for because it would have been rude for me to park to take a photo and pull away, and she had a child so that would be 2 jerk strikes against me. Since I'm only allotted 3 a day, I need to ration them well.

Did I mention genius marketing? Well, not only did they offer a promotion for free chicken for a year to the first 100 people who ate in the restaurant, they also are offering free breakfast every Wednesday. I'm not sure where these promotion ideas are coming from, or how long they've been around, or if they similar things at their other locations, but be sure to keep an eye on their facebook page for any news.
Here in @CityofRoundRock #ATX, there is an influx of people from many companies and cultures. You can be an #iwork4Dell, @Apple, or the infamous Blizzard gaming; and you can be from Dallas or San Antonio TX, California or NY, Brazil or China and still have one thing in common. Chicken! I'm glad it's such a cohesive environment in the 4th safest city in the United States. I'm looking forward to many great dining adventures here.
Be sure to keep an eye out for my Yelp review soon at http://bit.ly/dontmakemeyelp.
